The brief: you want to say I have been learning Spanish for two years, and you are not sure how.
Plain model
"You could say: He estado aprendiendo espanol por dos anos. That means I have been learning Spanish for two years."
Tongue
"Close, and understandable, but a native would say llevo dos anos aprendiendo espanol. The llevo construction is how Spanish actually expresses time spent doing something, and por here sounds translated. Try saying it back to me. Want the same pattern for I have lived here for five years, so it sticks instead of staying a single fact?"
Same sentence. The plain reply gives a textbook translation that is technically fine and sounds foreign. Tongue gives you what a native actually says, explains the pattern so you can reuse it, and gets you speaking it back, which is how a language sticks.
